I will add that I was inspired by this post and called an Enterprise location as I was contemplating doing a National > Enterprise one-way. The girl who answered did confirm it is possible to bring them a car from National. She did say the airport I was planning to pickup from charges a steep drop fee, usually $75-$125 depending on the car class.
I ultimately went with a different plan but good to know this is an option for future reference.
literally just got off the phone with the same question. Picking up in Las Vegas, returning to Cheyenne which is apparently closed after 5 PM Friday.
The enterprise location in town advised me that I should make the reservation to return to the Cheyenne airport, but that if I return to the enterprise location during business hours Saturday they can inventory it and close it out.
No drop fee was mentioned and I’m planning on using free days, so I’m curious how this will all work out.
