As a rendez-vous point I would like to suggest the Hindu temple on Serangoon Road. This is easy because all taxi drivers know this location. It will be a five minute walk form there.
The traditional Indian meal in Little India, Singapore was chosen by the discovery channel as one of the best 10 meals worldwide below USD5. That is saying something because it costs much less then that!
On Sunday at 02.00 we meet for a historical walk. It is Jan. so it might get hot (bring a hat), but it might also rain (folding brully). The rendez-vous point is already set at the Long bar. This is at the Raffles, but not in the hotel, but on the other end of the block, upstairs in the shopping arcade.
Maybe people could let me know how long the walk should be....... we are talking about a walk in a tropical climate.
Thank you
miles4all for organizing this. When you say "the Hindu temple on Serangoon Road", you are referring to the Sri Veerama Kaliamman Temple, I assume.
I am definitely up for both the lunch on Saturday and the walk on Sunday.
