Without some in depth market research it's hard to know what people will decide, but one would imagine anyone who cares about status and perks enough to spend $75K on a Reserve or Platinum card would also know that's a ridiculous waste of spend. You can get $1500 for that on a double cash card and buy a SkyClub membership with cash to spare. So maybe there's an "incentive" for people without the ability to do basic arithmetic.
