If there truly is a demand cliff, all of this is pointless as Delta will
simply roll back all changes. But we have gone through years of inflation, asset price increase, net worth growth, baby boomer retirement (my retired parents are on 401k, social security, pensions, etc and do nothing but travel), etc. So I would not bet on demand falling in any meaningful way
