Right. At the end of the day, it comes down to value. And hassle is part of that value. Right now, I'm booking flights for an upcoming trip through South America and there are a lot of new discount airlines. Their reviews are worse than Ryanair. I'm trying to avoid them all unless the price differential is at least US$50 per person for these short flights (including necessary bag fees). I just don't want a lot of hassle, especially in a culture that I am less familiar with (like my Spanish is marginal).
