I just hit 175K LP based on last night's flight. I already have SWUs in the bank and don't need the SWUs right now; I'm leaning towards just taking the 2 SWUs, but I'm mildly considering the two gifts of gold for my wife and son who would find value in that when traveling without me. If I gift gold now (versus later), does that impact the eligibility period? Like if if I wait til Feb 28th, does that buy the whole next program year versus just this year. Similarly, if I take the SWUs now, when will they expire versus taking them Feb 28, 2024? I don't want to click to far and mess anything up.
