It's not too dissimilar to phishing scams on the internet. They are often full of spelling errors because they are targeting an ignorant + greedy subset of the population, of which there are more than enough...
It used to be much worse with Ryanair. I remember in 2009-2010 the nastiness of gate agents shouting "PLACE YOUR BAG IN THE SIZER", "Your bag is 100 grams too heavy, 65 Euro fine!". The moment you boarded the plane and until seatbelt sign was off, blasting ads over the speakers that you could not ignore (before you were allowed to use headphones/devices below 10000 FT).

My rule of thumb with Ryanair is whatever is the price they state for the flights, double it to include all the "extras" to allow you to travel like a human being. If double the price is similar to the competition, I go with the completion.
