Well, KLM send PAX an e-mail including link to traveldocs so nobody has to guess anything, given that is the onus of PAX to ensure they're eligible to enter their destination it only makes sense they will do so using the tools provided by the airline rather than rely on past experience.
Pax did not rely on pax experience. Pax relied on
actual authorities on the requirements to enter Argentina.
If the situation was flipped and traveldoc would say that he was allowed to enter but the Argentine government said no, do you think KLM could say "but the website said yes" and all would be forgiven?
