Just wrapping up a three night stay & overall had a very comfortable stay:

Upgraded from a Park View King (using SNA's) to a Grand Executive King Suite.

Room was fine enough but really starting to show it's age even though it was mostly quite well maintained. The emerald green carpet is just dated though & brings down the whole feel of the suite, which is really dark to begin with! Yikes, definitely not our taste. The lighting is lacking in all rooms but particularly the bedroom & wardrobe areas. Quite a bit of wear & tear in general but particularly the old & rickety bathroom which really needs an upgrade. I mean one sink?! No rain shower?! Lol.

The bed was really comfy though & the pillows great once we'd ditched the foam "rocks" & replaced with feather pillows.

Was not offered (& didn't need) a late check out & was never told about the lounge operating hours or any of the facilities but of course we figured that out!

Was left a nice plate of choices & a bottle of red wine which was a nice touch.

I found the lounge to be excellent with very attentive table service for evening drinks & an interesting selection of hot & cold snacks with highly professional staff. Breakfast in the main restaurant was good with quality items & barista coffee.

The hotel is in a great location & provided a comfortable stay but I do hope rooms are brought into the 21st century soon. Not 100% sure we'd return...it'd depend on rates & other options.
