I was DM for 20 years, then dropped to GO for a couple of years and it was complete night and day (and made me realized since I'm paying full-C anyway, might as well prioritize efficiency over brand loyalty.) I double checked CX status benefits on CX and the only new benefit GO has over SL is extra-checked bag. So I guess if you travel with 3 checked-bags regularly it's good to have, if not, why?
