It is a quite new hotel, so I would be surprised if they needed half a year to renovate. Maybe they are closing for low season like some hotels in Greece and Turkey do. It would be interesting to know whether they plan to do it on a yearly basis. I was considering going back in early October 2024, but now I think I will plan for something different not to have an unpleasant surprise like you have.
We were there during the "Soft Opening" stages. Beautiful Location,But windy.someone spent a Lot of $$$$$$$$$ on this property, But not much to see from the Street Level. I personally do not think the property is doing Great Business.
