Thanks... I was super interested in getting the Bonvoy Brilliant Card but I wanted to procure a Business Version - and sadly it seems that its only available in a personal version. I have to see what I end up doing as paying for company expenses with a personal card, while not impossible, is a pain in terms of the additional paperwork involved. Also, the card does come with a fee.. but this may be offset with the bonuses and the legendary AmEx stacking possibilities... etc. Thoughts...?

My understanding is that you only get 1 LP per $ with AA cards, regardless of category. The additional miles you get are bonus miles, not LPs. So while my AA Barclay's card would give me 2 miles per $ at Marriott properties, only 1 of those would be LPs. This is why I use my Bonvoy Brilliant card when staying at Marriott on personal stays to get the 6 Bonvoy points per dollar. Sadly on business stays I have to use my corporate Amex card so only get the measly 1 MR per $.
