My wife and I traveled in business from DUB - CLT this Saturday. The menu looked pretty good and we both chose the sirloin steak. Big mistake!! I assumed that it would be sliced into small strips, but it came as a chunk the size of an old cigarette packet. It was as tough as shoe leather and almost inedible. I ate about 1/3rd and wife even less. The celery and potato gratin was the only saving grace!

We could have complained of course but of course the cabin crew are not responsible.

Also the wine selection was not great. I really like European wines and AA used to always have a nice French or Italian white. I actually chose to drink the Trentino with my steak. The after dinner Glenlivet helped, but I was pretty disappointed in the wine and food on this journey. Perhaps the bizarre thing is that I traveled the same route earlier in the month in main cabin and had a delicious chickpea curry for dinner.
