Executive Elite Benefits… what does “guaranteed car” mean?
10 year executive member, renting 40-60 times a year from the same non-aisle location. This is a large non-aisle location with over 100 parking spots for vehicles in their lot.
I made my reservation 3 weeks ago for a midsize car.
I show up for pickup today and am told “we have no vehicles. Please have a seat and we’ll call you if one is available”. I asked how many were ahead of me and they said “13”. Ahead of me in the queue are Alamo customers, and customers who have never rented before (as overheard).
Does “guaranteed vehicle” have any qualifications on it…. Or does it mean “guaranteed reservation” with no promise of vehicle availability?
