Hey all,
I had a flight from Philadelphia to Doha that was disrupted when Qatar Airways cancelled their PHL-DOH route. I worked with a representative on the Live Chat on the Qatar website to request a cancellation and refund of the miles and was told that the miles would be redeposited in an hour or two, but the taxes and fees could take up to 30 days. The taxes and fees were actually refunded fairly quickly on August 23, one day after I made the request. The Avios have not been refunded however. I went on the Live Chat again to ask about this again last week and they said 24-48 hours. The Avios of course are still not returned to my account.

Can anyone please advise what the regular/normal time frame I should expect for a miles refund would be?

If I contact the call center directly is an agent there able to process this faster?
