It really wasn't that tight though. I removed the DL number a few days ago (Friday) when I was bored on some other flight and I saw there is a button for it in the app. I tried adding the Asante number, Didn't work. Decided to leave it.
Checked in while inflight during my today. Noticed that TSA-PRE was missing. Since I don't have much time in JFK having PRE would be nice. I really did not think adding the GE number back in was likely to mess much up. I thought there was a decent change it might not take it - I did not think it would lead to an error like that.
It's my understanding that everything is "pre-wired" re: FF# and personal/biometric/whatever data.
ESPECIALLY Delta.
So by removing it, ... playing with fire.
