Earning Miles/FFP Points on JL When Mileage Was Already Credited to AA

Hi everyone, I have some questions about a recent situation.

I had bought an AA-stock itinerary which was for 2 QR flights and AA marketed. When I bought these tickets, I used an old AA credit to apply here (but which it was tied to my AA FFP account). However on the QR "manage my booking". I was able to change to JL FFP and my boarding passes had issued the JL FFP. However, when I checked the AA app to look at new flights, I saw that I had accumulated miles (from the AA marketed, QR operated tickets from my recenely completed trip).

From the JL side, would I still be able credit these flights to JL? Would I need some kind of official communication from an AA representative to confirm that they have removed the FFP accumulation from AA? I think my best plan would be to contact AA, then see if they can do anything, then submit the boarding passes to JL for retroactive flight crediting.

Any advice or consideration from anyone is highly appreciated!
