In HKG for a course that finishes Sun Oct 1 ~1730 and don't fly out HKG until next day Mon 1830 on QF.

Is a short day trip to Macau viable (never been)? Or would it be better to do a quick o/night stop (actually more inclined to do this). What would the logistics entail? I'm thinking ferry from HK and then ferry back to HKIA - is that possible given I don't see QF as a participating carrier for transfers at the SkyPier. Will only be travelling light carry-on only.
