Incidentally my regular king size room has exactly the same issue with the unpleasant odor. I had mentioned it to housekeeping and the club lounge staff on the first but no response so far.
Disappointing to hear that this bathroom smell might be a systemic issue - I had no challenges in my second room. I couldn't imagine staying in that first room - pee-ew!
