Grand Hyatt Washington. Aug 2023 - 8 nights: first 7 on cash, 8th on an FNC. (no issue with reservation getting combined and messing up the SUA)
Booked into Grand Suite. Received a 2nd floor Grand Suite...did not ask about the 8th night until the day before, when no suites were showing available. The agent was very kind and said she could have helped me if I had come sooner. Also told me to check back the next morning in case one opened up. So in the case of this particular FDA, I suppose I could have gotten the FNC night upgraded had I requested it sooner.

Hyatt Regency Bali. Aug 2023 - 7 nights. Booked on points
Booked into a Regency Suite with 1 King Bedroom. Received one on the 2nd floor. Loved the room with a huge balcony (and two other small balconies) all with slight ocean views. Unfortunately it seems like that suite is no longer eligible as it is listed as a premium suite. Only the Family Suite is a standard suite now. Still a nice room but no huge balcony to soak up the sun.
