The lounge access could be useful (I did fly with my family recently - I was travelling for work in business, they were returning to the UK in economy on the same flight). I noticed the 20% redemption on classic rewards (I think this means just straight points for flights rewards) but it's just once per membership year although I guess I might not use it that frequently.

Bonus tier miles will get me to Platinum more quickly but probably not that much more quickly.

I do like the idea of 20% saving for upgrades.

Any thoughts on paying for this service and which 'tier' people paid for?
