That if you arrive at the gate while groups 3+ are being boarded, there will be a clearly marked, separate and accessible boarding lane/queue you can go straight up to and skip the main queue.
My experience is that the only way to get priority once higher groups have started boarding is to push in front of others saying “I’m group X” or whatever - which I won’t do.
