Someday I wish AS would fix the annoying glitch with applying guest upgrades to separate reservations....my wife and I are both 75Ks so we typically book separate reservations but in cases where U space opens after booking and we want to use a guest upgrade code, as soon as the agent upgrades one of us, U goes from 2 (or whatever it was at) to zero even though only one of us was upgraded. Had this exact same issue twice in the past two weeks. Two companion fares used for four travelers total. U space showing 4-5 seats and then once I upgrade the first couple online, U space goes to 0. By this I mean I get as far as the screen where you select your GGUs to apply to the reservation for the second couple. Once there, I still see two blue boxes of upgrade space and when I click apply, it errors out and says the GGUs couldn't be applied. I got around it by calling, making sure the reservations agent sees U space at 4-5 and then making them force the second couple into first but this should be achievable online.
