menu

eggplant caponata

The shrimp in the eggplant caponata could be more fresh.

pan seared pacific coast salmon

Tiny piece of salmon that was slightly overcooked. Could be cooked a little less and with larger portions. It could easily be an appetizer rather than a main dish.

watermelon cucumber feta salad

Tasty but I love arugula.

Laura Chenel goat cheese plate

Good although the crostini was a little soggy and crispy/crunchy like I remembered.

burger with everything

Nothing outstanding but a good classic choice that they have trouble messing up.

white wine poached peach

Asked for this without ice cream which was not honored. Peach itself was not too sweet and tasty.

lemon cheesecake mousse, chocolate chip skillet cookie

Wished the cheesecake flavor was more pronounced and a little bit denser, instead it was more like whipped cream. Skillet cookie is a good classic choice that's hard to mess up.

Service was painfully slow as usual. Waited 15-20 minutes before I could flag down a server between the entrees to try to order dessert. Ended up taking 2+ hours to finish lunch. Had to wait around 20 minutes after arriving at 10:30AM on a Thursday for a table for 1.

The buffet items were super forgettable for me. Not really anything worth discussing.
