There is a *huge* point in rewarding this type of behaviour if it generates significant revenue for the company on an incremental basis compared to having to fight to get you to choose them over another carrier because of a basic perk.

They don't *need* to give SE status to one of these flyers, but they should be treated the same (or better) based on financial metrics.
