Oct 2022- United has "no plans to expand this fare type outside of Japan," the airline said, with "no intention of ever bringing back change fees to standard economy fares."
Of course... it's been 11 months so plans changed Though I'm still sticking to my hypothesis that NH is behind these fares

yeah (seat selection plus upgrades, but cannot +$200 to upfare ?)
The two do not appear together in the search results list for either city pair.
I haven't seen BE and non-changeable fares filed for the same city pair yet.
i tried openjaw, doesnt seem like you can combine BE and non-changeable. Need to read the fare rules in detail
Still, same question I had for JV, just seems messy right now (UA doing it's BE thing for SIN/HKG, UA+NH non-changeable for KUL/BKK/Japan/...) Fwiw NH/UA should just adopt BE consistently, though probably not all will share the same sentiment
