London bound train approaching the little cute tunnel
It took me a while to realize that in the UK (just like India) trains travel on the left, while in the USA (and probably most other countries) trains travel on the right (i.e., platform is to the right of the train in the direction of travel)
This baby is just like my sister's dog - a veritable scaredycat. Will not get on the escalator lol!
We inadvertently travelled to the north terminal as I had misunderstood that Wizzair uses that terminal.
This lounge was bigger and had a better selection of goodies
This photo should give you an idea of the spread
Soon, we were waiting to board. As priority, we were closer to the gate in the boarding area
Love the unique livery of Wizzair
Funnily enough, my clothes really matched this livery that day lol (wife pointed this out - I had failed to notice)
We landed in Vienna at almost 11 pm. I had been antsy about being able to get to the Hauptbahnhof (which is where our hotel was) quickly. When we enquired at the information desk, we were informed that there is a bus that goes at 30 minute intervals for most of the day (reduced to hourly intervals at the late night hours), and that the trains don't run that late (I am hoping we weren't misinformed about this). As it turned out, buses were quite convenient for us and we used them for the return.
We liked the decor of the hotel room...
the bathroom area...
and the closet space
