My query is whether I should have attained the Gold tier after the July 27 flight? Currently I am Silver and my dashboard is showing I need 79 Qpoints to be upgraded to gold.
The criterion for upgrading from Silver to gold is to earn 300 Qpoints during any 12 month period. So assuming your calculation is correct, and none of the flights credited on different dates to the actual flight dates, yes you should probably have been upgraded.

I would generate a statement of your account activity over the period and save it as a pdf to send to them. There will be contact details for Privilege Club on your member dashboard. Or you could try the live chat and ask to be connected to a QRPC agent. This may be something that the back office needs to look at though rather than getting an instant resolution during the chat.
The my calculator numbers you are seeing aren't too helpful for assessing the rolling 12 months total. And I guess it is also possible that with the various free tier extensions given out, something may have slipped through that overlooked rolling 12 month totals.
Assuming the flights all credited within the dates you mentioned, I'm sure they will sort this out for you, especially if you have the activity statement to support your request.
