If you booked both tickets on one reservation, wouldn’t there be only one charge on the CC statement, for the combined total of both tickets? And the bonus would be the 2x benefit?
Did you check the number of points posted?
I got the miles but only half the LPs. It shows on the CC statement as 2 purchases (a ticket for me and one for the hubby). Barcalays bounced me back to AAdvantage. They opened a case. They closed it and sent me back to Barclays saying they need to submit the second ticket as an AA PURCHASE not an AA PURCHASE BONUS. So I'm back on the phone with Barclays Customer Service.
