Hi all, got some confusing info from the KLM phone agent.

my itinerary

feb 1 sfo-ams

feb 4 ams-prg

feb 8 prg-ams-sfo

She said that the checked baggage limit for economy is 2 pieces at 70 lb for the sfo-ams segment. Then for my ams-prg segment the limit is 2 pieces 40 pounds TOTAL.

Is this correct? I can come to europe with 140 pounds and then fly within europe with only a quarter of that?

Can someone clue me in on this...I am confused.
