You should get to ski yes but the quality of that skiing will be completely weather dependent. That early in the season there is a good chance a large portion of the trails will not be open and most off piste skiing will be dangerous. That is earlier than I personally would take a ski vacation but if your not much of a skier and just want to ski a little and enjoy the resort it should work.
