So, I have a connection in CPH on 10/14. Flying from Rome to Chicago.

It's a 50 minute layover, which gives me a little bit of the heebie jeebies. But...it is what it is, so I am going with it.

I am in economy, so I expect I won't be amongst the very first people de-planing (unless the airline asks passengers to stay seated except for passengers trying to make specific connections to specific airports, I have seen that happen before. But, I'm not expecting it.)

I am under the impression that I will likely need to go through immigration before boarding my flight to Chicago. I don't know how long that typically takes...I am staying cool and calm about it now, and hoping for the best. But, you never know when there may be a bottleneck. I am trying to be mentally prepared, should the worst happen.

Per the SAS site, boarding closes 35 minutes prior to the flight. So....that's a pretty tight connection. I'm not sure what time they officially close the door.

I guess I am just trying to figure out...if my initial flight is running late...at what point is it considered "my fault" and at what point is considered "their fault" Fault is the wrong word, but you know what I mean. Like....if the flight arrives just barely on time, but by the time everyone de-planes, and I go through immigration, and I don't make it to the gate before they close the doors....is it my responsibility to rebook or is it theirs? Or, maybe the initial flight runs 20 minutes late. And, even though we would technically be there in time to make it to the other gate, by the time we de-plane and get through immigration, it's too late.

I am just wondering how technical and nit-picky they get with it.
