Hotel: NH Collection Plaza Santiago
Room Booked: Superior Room
Rate: $117/night
Early Check-in: Yes, 2pm (when we arrived)
Late Checkout: N/A

Upgrade: Superior Room with View (Would have gotten Jr Suite based on first room given, but we preferred 2 beds)
$100 Food & Beverage Credit: Yes, any food and bev in hotel, including minibar & (24/7) room service. Exchange rate about 4% lower than market. Prices pretty good - most drinks are $6-$10, lunch/dinner/room service/minibar all fairly reasonable for a hotel as well. NOTE: The (same) person at check-in/out claimed we needed to spend all $100 to get the credit. Something didn't post to my bill, so it was a little under. Another employee said the $100 requirement wasn't the case at all and then the original person waived my bill, so not sure if it's true or not.
Breakfast: $16/person, nice deluxe continental with someone in the back making eggs to order. Plenty of fresh cut fruit & fresh fruit juices, tea/espresso drinks, pastries/baked goods, meats/cheeses, etc as well.
Comment: Best NH Collection I've stayed at. Beds were double beds (vs twins listed on the hotel site) super comfortable, room 380 sq ft. with a desk to work at, a sitting area, a Nespresso machine, and 2 free waters/day. Thick mattresses and 3 large pillows on each bed - The best I've slept at a hotel in quite a while. This place is a pretty good location, about a 4-5 minute walk to the Metro, right across from the Costanera Center, and some good restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Las Condes a quick trip to the NW and Centro/Lastarria/Bella Italia/Parque Met a quick trip SW. Menus and services available here if you want to see what $100 gets you. If trying to save money and/or won't spend much time at the hotel, I'd take this over Ritz/W, but for one night or you want to splurge, you may be better off there.
