if that happens, just give a seat to your Elite and EP1s... I do not believe all domestic legs are full at all times
Gallary - yes, need some capital upgrade, but not that bad?
TT do domestics regularly. Either reposition or when need planes (the TT A320/1 all have liquor license for this reason), I think they have extra TT configured one as TT can do domestic but the domestic can't do TT (ETOPS paperwork and lacking rafts and HF). More so when one of the domestic ones are out for longer maintenance.

Domestic flights are fairly choka most of the time, 3 or 6 seats between TT and Domestic yep that many empty seats but not 10s which is what you would have with a late swap. Can't just give elite those seats as people would have already selected the front rows and need to rejig many people, this wouldn't be in schedule. They normally cover it by leaving the back row or two to airport control. Think people would get peeved off if they left the front 5 rows to airport control on all domestic flights in case of a late swap to a TT A320.

This is aviation a galley to do BP will be a lot in capital as aviation pricing and also foot print as need more trolleys and space to prep. QF in their 737s don't offer the same meals as their Wide Bodies in Business.
