Hopefully not too long, but the level of cancellations due to lack of flight crew and engineers has caught the eye of senior management, not just because of cost but also the reputational damage.
Hopefully this will to lead to some action. Restoration of a proper maintenance centre at Gatwick would be a good move for both mainline and BA Euroflyer.
The shuttling of aircraft to and from Heathrow is ridiculous being time consuming and inefficient.
