Agree, I often would fly VA in J on AKL-BNE (often they would do sales for J around $399-450). It was mega good value, for what NZ would often be charging for seat only on AKL-BNE.
The experience was always awesome, the crew always made the flights enjoyable and fun. Even though it was a meal on single tray, I found it great over the painfully slow multi part service on NZ. The seat was prefect for the time of the day and flight length (I found it more comfortable than NZ’s J for a day time flight). Oh and the wine on VA always used to flow very well…
I flew VA J this week on SYD-BNE, with VA’s new hard product the seat was great. Was reminded how great VA’s onboard service is in J, May of. Had three glasses of wine along with my meal of my 1hr flight.
