MCO is not a shoe carnival for me. Occasionally, you get a screener who makes up his/her shoe rules, but generally a pretty good airport for following the official TSA shoe policies.

JFK Terminal 3 is also not a shoe carnival airport for me.

EWR is a disgraceful shoe carnival airport. Seems like little control over screeners there, who make up the rules as they go.
