Use the call button - in my experience, they don’t mind at all. QR is not like BA/QF where J class tries to drink their ticket price - it’s more relaxed and you have to ask.
In regards to the wine, keep in mind that some EK/QR cabin crew don’t drink so recommending a switch or a wine for specific tasting notes literally has to be memorized or communicated based on past flight demands & preferences. For this, I cut them a little slack…
