There is generally a 1 year rule on ticketing. You can within that 1 year get the ticket reissued with a voluntary change, then the validity is 1 year from that reissued date. But you can't push it to say 13 months or more. There isn't a lot of point in buying tickets way off, it's rarely a cheap or flexible way to travel. If you are medically unable to travel you may be covered by travel insurance perhaps.
Hi , thanks for your response. My re-scheduled itinerary is for October and I'm just trying to change it to May and they are telling me it expires in December. Shouldn't do the validity of the ticket be October of 2024? Thanks.
