I am not aware of too many homes in Japan without washlet toilets. Our houses in both countries have Toto. In fact, we recently replaced the three toilets in our U.S. home with the brand new Toto Neorest AS.

We've taken things a bit further by adding heated floors (another standard feature in Japanese properties) and installing a Japanese-style bathtub that allows one-touch ability to automatically have the tub filled at a pre-defined temperature. Mrs. KI-NRT is in bliss
