Over two months ago, I bought two $500 Vanilla Visa Gift Cards from CVS issued by Sutton Bank and distributed by InComm Financial Services. I opened up a case with Vanilla and have talked to them probably 6 times. I have yet to receive my replacement cards. Their customer service stinks and they just keep telling me they're still processing my request and that the department in charge of that will email me (which of course, they never do). Anyway, I am thinking about initiating a CFPB complaint against them and trying to figure out whether to name Sutton or InComm as the defendant/respondent. I assume Sutton is the correct party. Anybody had to file a CFPB complaint involving Vanilla gift cards? Any advice appreciated. Thanks.
