I was supposed to travel on to MIA from LHR, then to LIM on that date. However, BA207 to MIA was cancelled and I was rebooked onto the next day's, so MIA-LIM was changed accordingly. However, the MIA-LIM was never posted to my BAEC account, even though the return LIM-MIA has been posted by now. It turned out that MIA-LIM was rebooked with the AA primary code, so my BAH is not qualified for the double tier points!!
This is ridiculous, also this does not make sense that the MIA-LIM is non-qualifying because of the AA code. Since BAH did not respond to my complaints, I have been speaking to GGL. If the double TPs not given, I will be furious.
Don't see that there would be any basis for refusing the double TPs when you booked under a BA code and only flew under an AA code due to IRROPS. I'm in a slightly trickier position as I had a schedule change that forced me onto an AA code, but I've raised it with the Gold line and will see what they come back with. When rebooking, the BAH rep did promise that I would still get the full double TPs and I have a recording of that call...
