I have always got a greeting even in PE from Saigon the other week .
The Japanese FSM greeted me on boarding and when seated came for a brief chat and bought a bottle of water. Also a couple of glasses of wine from business class with lunch.
Same with Auckland flight last month -both ways.
idk why but the Auckland flight seems to often have Japanese crew.
Always found them to be the best CX crew.
Hk crew are the worst.
