Flew into DFW last night after a long day of SOF-FCO-DFW. Was supposed to continue DFW-CVG but, while waiting for the bags at customs, decided to bail on that and crash at the GH.

It was well worth it. Texted to ask for an upgrade to an exec suite... when we walked up (5 minutes later) the front desk agent said "good news and bad news" -- the bad news was no exec suite, the good news was we got a presidential, hah. Really great service all around, the chocolates (and crackers for the kid) at check-in are a nice touch, we ordered a room service dinner that was actually brought on real plates, and then we were able to use the glob breakfast for room service breakfast (in a bag, but still solid quality, especially the fresh squeezed OJ, the real maple syrup, and the omelet). Pool is back open (nothing crazy but still nice to be on the rooftop -- especially given the 100+ temps), steam room works, and the suite was excellent. Remains one of my favorite Hyatt properties.
