It's been my experience that JL F cabin award availability within 5-7 days of departure is about as reliable as it gets. Now, whether AS tech accurately pulls this availability is another matter. Similar to my experience trying to book J awards on FJ for next week, I've had to pivot to using my AA miles to secure JL J and F cabin in the past when the AS system explodes.
