Another option would be to look south, much further south. WDH (Windhoek, Namibia) is the same price as OSL with the added benefits of being able to use your stopovers in Europe and ending anywhere in Africa.

Was about to say that as well, I thought QR was the only OneWorld carrier still serving WDH with the demise of BA's Comair franchise, and sadly QR is pulling out. I almost wonder if WB (Rwandair) will pick it up in QR's place (they are partners) but WB unfortunately isn't a OW member yet.
