Hi,

I'm thinking off booking a flight from LHR to RAK with Royal Air Maroc. All the flight options are showing as going via CMN each with differing transit times. Since I've not been to Casablanca, I thought I would book the flight which has a 24 hour transit so I could explore the city. However, before I proceed with booking this, I was wondering if someone could help me with the following queries:

1. The Royal Air Maroc website has two options for a transit over 8 hours. How do I ensure I get the option where I'm allowed to leave? Do I need to inform Air Maroc that I wish to leave the airport when I do my booking? Or is that I just go to the exit counter on arrival and ask for an exit permit (I'm a UK citizen so I don't think I'll need a transit visa).

2. Will I get to choose the hotel room I get to stay at or will Air Maroc put me in a hotel of their choosing.

3. Does the meal voucher cover all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner)? Is it only useable in the airport/airport hotel?
