She will need a visa and getting it will depend on a number of factors such as whether she was just arrested or actually convicted. It will also depend on the severity of the offence. Probably best to seek advice. I am not a lawyer.

If the trip is next month I can’t imagine it will be easy to resolve in time as it will require a trip to the US Embassy.
