Do you still get Hilton points/nights credit if you were to book through BA Holidays? I know generally not if through a third party like Expedia, but Hilton website says something about using accredited IATA agents which i'd presume BA are?
Not the end of the world either way as the double tier points would be more valuable.
You should not, but occasionally people do manage to get points. You can always ask to add your HH number at check in. See it as a nice bonus if you do get points, but don’t let it influence your decision.
