United just doesn’t want to put 4 diagrams of the exact same plane with the exact same seats (say the Dreamliner), labeling each section differently, depending on how they are marketed.

Possible marketed seat combinations for the exact same Dreamliner version.

Polaris / PE / Economy (Polaris routes)
Business / PE / Economy (premium transcon)
First / PE / Economy (long haul Hawaii)
First / Economy (domestic)

All three have hard product Polaris, PE, and economy seats, but the seats are sold what they are marketed as - I.e the exact same Polaris seat can be sold as “Polaris class”, “Business Class”, or “First Class”, depending on the route,

Many people just can’t disassociate what they see on a seat diagram from what they see in the booking process, their ticket receipt, or their boarding pass. The only way do it is to post 4 diagrams of the exact same plane. Maybe UA should do it. They’d also have to add seat maps of any unconverted planes.
